Sen. Andy Uba Receives Screening Certificate



The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Andy Uba today received his certificate of clearance from the screening committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the forthcoming elections in Anambra State.

Uba who arrived at exactly 11:15 am was the first to arrive the venue and was immediately ushered into the hall where  other aspirants were to be received.
At exactly 1.25pm, the Chairman of the screening committee and Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Agboola Ajayi commenced the process of presenting the certificates to the screened aspirants who immediately went into the business of the day.
Mr. Ajayi commended the aspirants for their show of maturity, he went on to state that each and every of the aspirants had signed an agreement that they would all support whoever emerged as the aspirant.
He also presented three reports of the committee to the  National Organising Secretary, Osita Izunaso mainly for the office of the National Chairman, the State Chairman and the Chairman of the Appeal Committee.
Senator Osita Izunaso also commended both the aspirants and the committee, he informed them that an election committee would be formed soon to conduct a free and fair primaries.
For Senator Uba, the receipt of his clearance was a pointer to the fact that all power belongs to God.
Uba made this known whilst he was speaking to the press corp attached to the party’s secretariat.
He said “  I want to thank all my supporters particularly Ndi Anambra for their prayers and support so far, as you can see I have been cleared and it does justice to the lies and rumours you have been hearing, that I won’t be cleared etc, and I ask, why should I not be cleared? Is this the first screening committee I have appeared before?
On his chances on his victory, Uba said that for as long as the delegates would be Ndi Anambra he I confident that he would emerge victorious.
