Fresh start: Jeraldine Blackman Changes ‘The Blackman Family’ Name on Social Media to Reset
Social media influencer and content creator Jeraldine Blackman became emotional as she announced a major update across her family’s social media platforms – the rebranding of “The Blackman Family.”
In an Instagram post earlier this week, the celebrity mom reflected on the difficult decision to let go of the name that had been synonymous with their four-year content creation journey.
“I’m crying this morning AGAIN 😂… It’s very emotional and such a hard decision to make. I’ve given this so much thought already. Last night, I couldn’t sleep until 2 a.m. because I was having a hard time letting go of the trademark I built ‘The Blackman Family,’” she said.
Jeraldine shared that she launched the page in August 2021, initially under the name “Hello Friends with Nimo.” By November 4, 2021, it evolved into “The Blackman Family,” which soon gained massive following.
She proudly emphasized that every video was made from scratch; never copied, never taken from anyone else, and never falsely claimed as her own. Each content was filmed and produced entirely by the team, and she spends countless days and sleepless nights brainstorming ideas, developing concepts, and perfecting every video through tireless editing.
But Jeraldine has accepted that change is the only permanent thing in this world. Sometimes it arrives uninvited, yet inevitable.
The online community, particularly their 5.6 million Facebook followers, was shocked when she revealed her breakup with husband Josh Blackman on February 21, 2025. Jeraldine was quick to address speculations, denying allegations of infidelity, and clarified that neither she nor her husband had been unfaithful
“Letting go of the name is so hard, it’s honestly breaking me, but I’m doing it. And when I come back, I’ll be coming back new,” Jeraldine promised her followers.
